In The Torah, It Says that Avraham had to go to The Land of Israel.
"Lech Lecha - לֶךְ-לְךָ"
As we see over thousands of years, Jews are always on the move and this has created Jewish Communities all over the world.
Let us share with you some of the known and not so known Jewish Communities.
Where Do Most Jewish People Live?
Jews live all over The World, although most Jewish People live in The United States.
There are an increasing amount of Jews from the diaspora who are moving to Israel.
And in the times of Moshiach, all Jews will be living in Israel.
However, for now, there are lots of Jews living in America, United Kingdom, France, South Africa, Australia and Israel.
Now that there is a Jewish State, more Jews are deciding to leave their comforting lives in Western Countries and trying to make it in Israel.
How Many Jewish People Are There In The World?
Today, there are over 15 million known Jews who are living in The World.
However, that number is likely a lot higher as there are many Jews who simply are not aware of their Jewish Identity.
Throughout history Jews have been forced to change their Jewish Identity.
Because of this, there are many Jews all over The World who are Jewish and they are not aware of it.
One example of this is a Jewish man living in Israel. His grandmother's sister was kidnapped by Arabs when she was a little girl. And since then, she has been living in Syria, and got married and had children and grandchildren. So, you can see by this example, these are Jews who are not aware that they are Jewish.
How Many Jews in Israel?
Almost 50% of all Jews currently live in Israel.
As violence and hatred against Jews continues to increase, more and more Jews from all over The World are flocking to Israel.
The Jewish Population in Israel is sitting at almost 7 million.
